Job summary

Intelligence Security Laboratories is a new and fast-growing non-profit working at the intersection of AI and security. We seek a Technical Recruiter to build on the foundation that supports our growth and lead recruitment across our technical and research teams.

You will design assessments, run scarce-skill headhunting, and own our hiring infrastructure in a small, fast-moving environment. We expect to double the team, with relocation to Washington, DC available, and a compensation package

Qualifications

• Assess technical needs and capacity planning for teams.
• Built or scaled technical teams or organizations.
• Can design work tests that distinguish candidates across disciplines.
• Have acted as hiring manager for technical roles.
• Proven ability to elicit strong performance from candidates and teams.
• Knowledge of AI safety and security developments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for candidates and records.
• Comfort in ambiguity in a small, fast-moving org.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and research needs and plan capacity.
• Turn needs into job descriptions with scope, seniority, and requirements.
• Head-hunt for scarce skill sets, including internationally.
• Design work tests and scoring rubrics and revise them.
• Lead and develop the recruitment function of ISL.
• Own our applicant tracking system and hiring infrastructure.
• Decide what to assess and whether it is working.
