Job summary

ME Elecmetal seeks a Technical Director – North America to shape and deliver the company’s technical strategy for integrated mining solutions across North America.

You will lead Product Design, New Product Development, Materials Engineering, and Mineral Process Engineering, coordinating with Global R&D and the Simulation Center of Excellence to drive innovation and value for customers. A strong background in comminution and mining operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree inMechanical/Metallurgical/Materials or Mining Eng required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in mining ops or mining equipment with strong technical background.
• 10+ years in mining ops, equipment, mineral processing, or industrial manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in at least one mining process, preferably comminution.
• Experience leading technical or product development teams.
• Experience translating customer challenges into engineered solutions.
• Experience evaluating emerging technologies and feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute North American technical strategy.
• Lead Product Design, New Product Development, Materials Engineering, and Mineral Process Engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Global R&D and Simulation Center of Excellence.
• Ensure manufacturable, cost-effective solutions.
• Communicate technical recommendations to executives.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor technical talent.
• Monitor project execution and engineering quality.
• Establish technical standards and budgets.
