Job summary

EDB in the United States is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to build and maintain post-sales relationships with large, complex customers. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor for Postgres and AI solutions, guiding architecture, troubleshooting, and deployment across cloud environments.

You will lead technical engagements, develop Postgres strategies, and coordinate with product teams while traveling up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2 or MS SQL Server.
• Advanced technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, and cloud technologies.
• Knowledgeable about data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with CxO level personnel.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusted advisor relationship with customer senior technical leadership.
• Help customers maximize value from Postgres investments.
• Assist customers to develop and deploy Postgres strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for major Postgres initiatives (solutions consulting, architecture guidance, project management).
• Maintain knowledge of EDB product line.
• Provide product feedback to product management based on customer requirements.
• Document best practices for EDB solutions deployment.
• Serve as front-line technical resource for best practices and customer questions.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
