Job summary

Point Foundation seeks a visionary Sr. Director, Technology & Systems to own the technology foundation and multi-year roadmap for growth. The role reports to the COO, oversees internal tech and external vendors, and guides AI adoption across departments.

Based remotely with relocation to the LA area possible; this position drives governance, security, and strategic tech investments to accelerate program outcomes and organizational scale.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in technology leadership, nonprofit growth or scaling.
• Demonstrated project management across multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Vendor and contract management, including RFPs for tech.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Blackbaud) and cloud suites.
• Hands-on AI tool evaluation, adoption, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own Point's technology roadmap and multi-year strategy.
• Advise on data governance, CRM, and cybersecurity with relevant leaders.
• Manage IT vendors; lead RFPs, negotiations, and contracts.
• Oversee IT infrastructure and cloud collaboration environments.
• Lead AI integration and change management across the org.
• Develop and coach direct reports to build internal tech capability.
