Job summary

Upwardly Global is seeking a visionary VP of Technology & AI Infrastructure to lead a national remote team, shaping technology strategy and AI-enabled platforms for jobseekers and partners. You’ll partner with executive leadership to drive scalable, secure, high‑impact solutions that advance outcomes while maintaining operational excellence.

You will champion data governance, security, and responsible AI, aligning IT with mission and growth goals while elevating product and engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology leadership spanning IT operations, systems leadership, and product/engineering delivery.
• Experience building technology strategy across internal infrastructure and externally facing products with AI.
• Strong program/project delivery discipline and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with AI, data governance, enterprise systems, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
• Deep collaboration with Product leaders on strategy, roadmaps, prioritization and delivery.
• Executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy and AI infrastructure aligned to organizational mission.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver scalable jobseeker and partner tools.
• Advance AI-enabled capabilities with governance, privacy, security, and risk controls.
• Lead internal IT operations, service delivery, and staff training on infrastructure and AI tools.
• Oversee Salesforce and data reporting to support programs, development, and leadership decisions.
• Implement project management discipline and drive cross-functional execution.
• Ensure security, risk management and compliance; communicate risks to leadership.
