Job summary

Gexpro-Services is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for the Technology vertical in Livermore, CA. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and aligning procurement with business goals.

The manager will guide a team of buyers, build supplier relationships, and drive inventories and performance metrics. Strong Excel/Power BI skills are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional sourcing and/or purchasing experience.
• Proven leadership experience with direct report oversight.
• Strong technical acumen in industrial components supply base.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement alignment to the vertical sourcing strategy and participate in supplier decisions.
• Collaborate with demand planning and analytics to analyze forecast data and inventory.
• Evaluate inventory investments to support new business implementations and program scope expansions.
• Meet or exceed inventory targets and assist in annual budgeting and forecasts.
• Coordinate with Service Center Manager to align sales projections with margins.
• Oversee new business implementations and stocking methodologies with supplier pricing.
• Manage service center performance to procurement metrics and cost controls.
