Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement and replenishment across assigned sites and customer accounts. You will review critical items, process backorders, and coordinate inbound deliveries while maintaining inventory targets and cost controls.

You will work with suppliers and the internal team to optimize fill rates, turn metrics, and gross margin. A strong background in ERP/CRM tools, Excel, and negotiation is required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; prior purchasing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, SCM, logistics preferred.
• 3–5 years procurement, supply chain experience.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stock procurement/replenishment for sites and customer accounts.
• Daily review of critical items below minimum threshold.
• Process customer backorders and stock requests via the system.
• Meet defined inventory metrics (turns, days on hand, etc.).
• Meet or exceed defined procurement metrics (planned order aging, fill rate, PO confirmations, PO date management).
• Negotiate returns on supplier non-conforming material.
• Assist onboarding of new customer accounts.
• Assist with supplier non-conformity issues and NPIs as needed.
• Coordinate inbound material delivery and shipment bookings.
