Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional sourcing and/or purchasing experience.
• Strong technical acumen and industrial components supply base knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience and direct report oversight.
• Excellent Excel and Power BI skills with complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Effective communication with peers and service center personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement alignment to the vertical sourcing strategy and supplier selection decisions.
• Collaborate with demand planning and analytics to optimize inventory and fulfillment levels.
• Evaluate inventory investments to support new business implementations.
• Meet or exceed inventory targets and provide quarterly forecasts.
• Coordinate with Service Center Manager to align sales projections and gross margin targets.
• Oversee new business implementations and supplier price agreements.
• Manage procurement workload and delegate tasks to maintain metrics.
• Monitor procurement performance to key metrics (Fill Rate, Days of Inventory, OTD).
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins through negotiations.
• Dispostion of obsolete inventory and internal transformations.
