Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF, and DSP embedded products in Austin, TX. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic product leadership across the RF-to-digital signal chain.

You will define requirements, guide development, and align engineering, sales, and customers around a compelling product roadmap for rugged embedded computing solutions. A strong engineering background and experience translating technical concepts into business value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics markets.
• Strong understanding of RF-to-digital signal chain and FPGA processing.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Experience with embedded software and hardware in defense/embedded tech domains.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF, DSP, and FPGA solutions.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and tech trends.
• Translate system requirements into product requirements and tradeoffs.
• Develop business cases and present recommendations to leadership.
• Lead concept definition and support NPI from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and form factors.
• Manage portfolio performance including revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and priorities.
• Work with sales and customers to identify market opportunities.
• Provide technical support in customer engagements and create product collateral.
