Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Technical Product Manager for FPGA, RF, and DSP to own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for RF/DSP/FPGA-based COTS solutions in Austin, TX.

You will translate complex RF/DSP concepts into hardware and FPGA implementations and partner with engineering and sales to drive market success. The role requires a strong engineering background, experience with embedded electronics, and the ability to present business cases to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have strong RF, DSP, FPGA, and embedded electronics background.
• Ability to translate RF/DSP concepts into hardware and FPGA implementations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with engineering, sales, customers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the RF/DSP/FPGA product strategy and roadmap.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs and technology trends.
• Translate system requirements into product definitions and tradeoffs.
• Develop business cases for new products and present to leadership.
• Lead NPI process from requirements through launch.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and form factors.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue and costs.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and prioritization.
• Interface with sales, customers and partners to identify opportunities.
• Create technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
