Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting/finance/economics/statistics preferred.
• Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
• CPA, Attorney, or EA required.
• Five or more years of tax or professional services experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to delegate and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client tax compliance while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.
• Review tax issues and coordinate with specialists as needed.
• Plan and monitor tax process including budgeting, time, billing and collections.
• Manage client relationships and provide timely advice.
• Identify research needs and prepare analyses following Firm standards.
• Explain income tax provision components to clients and plan accrual reviews.
• Develop and implement efficient tax strategies to reduce client taxes.
• Supervise and train associates and seniors; delegate work and provide feedback.
