Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative, or advisory roles.
• Proven ability to prepare complex individual and business tax returns, with planning and audit support.
• Enrollment in or completion of required IRS training or exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications; provide clear recommendations.
• Build year-round client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and Block Advisors products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
