Job summary

Abbott in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Recruiter to partner with managers, build candidate pipelines, and develop effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent. You will source candidates across channels, assess fit, and drive interviews and offers with a focus on timely, high-quality hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience with sourcing and building candidate pipelines is required.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred) is desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and move into a full-cycle recruitment role.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs, job specs, and qualifications to fill positions.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Create recruitment advertising and online postings.
• Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and other sources.
• Assess candidates for fit including skills, education, and experience; evaluate culture fit.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate with HR and hiring managers.
• Extend and negotiate offers; maintain relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
• Improve time-to-fill and other KPIs; manage vendor relationships as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
