Job summary

Centurum is seeking a dedicated recruiter to support staffing objectives in a dynamic environment. You will recruit, interview, and present candidates to managers, building strong pipelines from colleges, agencies, and online sources while promoting Centurum’s benefits and opportunities.

You will collaborate with managers to define requirements, ensure compliant processes under California employment law, and emphasize diversity and inclusion in every hiring decision.

Qualifications

• Recruiting and interviewing skills.
• Proficiency with phone, Skype, and social media/online meeting platforms.
• Supports workplace diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
• Familiarity with California employment law and compliance requirements.
• Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; and advising managers.
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using job sites.
