Job summary

Centurum is seeking an on-site Recruiter in Virginia to manage full-cycle staffing, candidate sourcing, and interview processes. You will partner with managers to define requirements, screen applicants, and build a diverse talent pipeline.

The role emphasizes compliance with employment laws, effective communications across technical and management teams, and contributing to compensation discussions. This is an on-site position located in Chesapeake, VA.

• Experience using phone, video calls, and online platforms for candidate screening.

Responsibilities

• Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating candidates and advising managers.
• Establishes recruiting requirements by studying plans and objectives with managers.
• Builds applicant sources through colleges, agencies, recruiters, media and online sites.
• Determines applicant requirements by job description and qualifications.
• Attracts applicants by advertising, recruiter outreach, and online postings.
• Assesses applicants by interviews, reference checks, and qualification comparison.
• Improves employer attractiveness by monitoring offers and compensation practices.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and provides training as needed.
• Keeps job knowledge current by reading, networking and professional involvement.
• Performs logistics and special projects as needed.
