Job summary

National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) seeks a Director of Talent Management to lead the organization’s talent strategy, including learning and development, recruiting, onboarding, and succession planning. The role reports to the Chief Human Resource Officer and partners with leaders to build strong talent pipelines and a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field required (the HTML states this).
• Ten years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, organizational development, or related HR function, including at least five years in a supervisory role.
• Five years of recruiting and onboarding experience required.
• Certifications such as CPTD or CPTM preferred.
• Experience designing learning, employee development, and talent programs that foster engagement and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and development strategy, including Professional Growth Program (PGP) design.
• Design and manage career development programs.
• Create employee experience initiatives to boost engagement and retention.
• Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Oversee recruiting and onboarding strategies.
• Oversee LMS implementation and content management.
• Partner with leaders on succession planning and talent pipelines.
