Job summary

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) seeks a strategic Director of Talent Management to drive a comprehensive talent strategy, including development, engagement, onboarding, and succession planning. You will partner with senior leaders to build pipelines and foster a culture of continuous growth.

Reporting to the CHRO, the role focuses on designing programs that enhance candidate and employee experience, scale talent initiatives, and align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ten years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, or related HR function, with at least five years in a supervisory role.
• Five years of recruiting and onboarding experience.
• Certifications such as CPTD or CPTM are preferred.
• Experience designing and implementing learning, employee development, and talent programs that foster engagement and performance.
• Experience with LMS, recruiting strategies, and employee engagement practices.
• Experience with LinkedIn Learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and development strategy, including design of the Professional Growth Program.
• Design and manage career development programs for professional growth.
• Create employee experience initiatives to boost engagement and retention.
• Set metrics to measure program effectiveness and use data for improvement.
• Develop recruiting and onboarding strategies to attract and retain talent.
• Oversee LMS implementation, strategy, content management, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with leaders on succession planning and building talent pipelines.
