Job summary

O’Melveny & Myers LLP seeks a Talent Development Operations professional to provide centralized support for attorney and business professional recruitment, onboarding, development, wellbeing, engagement, and retention. This role collaborates across Talent Development, Human Resources, and firm teams to create scalable processes, templates, and reporting that drive consistency and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; significant attorney recruiting experience highly preferred.
• Experience managing full-cycle lateral attorney recruitment for associate and counsel levels.
• Strong knowledge of the legal recruiting market and relationships with search firms.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; professional and discreet.
• Strong project management, organizational and data-tracking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lateral attorney recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
• Develop hiring plans with partners and leadership and translate needs into search strategies.
• Collaborate with Talent Development, HR and Conflicts to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
• Provide market insights, pipeline management, and recruitment metrics to firm leadership.
• Coordinate multi-office recruitment efforts and support integration of new hires.
