Job summary

James Moore & Co. is seeking a Manager, Talent & Capability Development to shape the firm’s future workforce. This role goes beyond training administration, focusing on strategy, capability frameworks, and leadership development across interns to managers.

You’ll design scalable learning experiences, connect development to performance and career progression, and lead innovation in AI-enabled learning while operating remotely with preference for the southeastern United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6–10 years of progressive experience in talent development, learning strategy, or organizational development.
• Strong internal consulting skills and ability to diagnose business and performance problems.
• Experience translating organizational strategy into workforce or talent-development priorities.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and work across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology in learning.
• Experience using data to evaluate development initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, project-management, and change-management skills.
• Experience with geographically dispersed or hybrid workforces.

• Diagnose capability gaps across the firm and recommend solutions.
• Design scalable learning experiences strengthening core capabilities.
• Redesign early-career development in light of automation changes.
• Advance leadership and manager development across levels.
• Innovate learning using AI, simulations, and tech-enabled methods.
• Align development with competencies, career progression, and performance.
• Measure impact beyond attendance and satisfaction.
• Maintain learning infrastructure and ensure compliance with requirements.
