Job summary

JEVS Human Services is seeking a Recruiter to manage full life-cycle recruiting across multiple programs. The role requires screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates, with emphasis on both exempt and nonexempt positions within an assigned territory.

The position is hybrid, with four days in office and one day remote weekly. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience, ATS proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
• Experience with an ATS required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must adhere to the JEVS code of conduct

Responsibilities

• Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
• Screens resumes, interviews candidates (phone or in person), administers assessments and reference checks; makes recommendations for hire.
• Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within assigned programs
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates
• Develops advertising programs to ensure high visibility with candidates
• Manages internal transfer process and coordinating interviews with hiring managers
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external clients to meet staffing goals
• Communicates employment information during offers (benefits, compensation, etc.)
• Works with managers to ensure compliance with funder regulations and laws
• Manages candidate activity in ATS
• Maintains memberships with professional organizations
• Other duties as assigned
