American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, attract, and select top talent for vessel and shoreside hourly positions. You will collaborate with hiring managers, source candidates via multiple channels, and lead recruiting events to build strong pipelines.

Ideal candidates have proven TA experience, strong communication skills, and expertise with ATS/HR software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business management or related field.
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment methods and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
• Create, coordinate, and lead recruiting events within targeted hiring territories.
• Represent the company at recruiting, career, community, and industry events to attract talent and educate candidates.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to identify the best candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume vessel and shoreside hourly positions.
• Shape ACBL's talent acquisition strategy and foster a diverse workforce.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
