Job summary

American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) in Paducah, KY or Cairo, IL, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, attract, and hire top talent for vessel and shoreside hourly roles. You will partner with hiring managers, coordinate recruiting events, and manage the full lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in HR or related field, proven TA experience, strong communication, and proficiency with ATS/HR software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, communications, business, or a related field.
• Experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment methods and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ATS and HR software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruit strategies.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
• Create and lead recruiting events in targeted hiring territories.
• Represent the company at recruiting and industry events to build pipelines.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to identify best candidates.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle for vessel and shoreside hourly positions.
• Shape ACBL's talent acquisition strategy and foster diversity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future needs.
