Job summary

Pharmaron Beijing Co. Ltd. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner – Scientific Operations to support the growth of our Commercial and Scientific Services teams in the United States.

This hybrid role, based in Carlsbad, CA, focuses on end-to-end recruitment for business development, account management, and scientific operations, including leadership hires. The successful candidate will partner with senior leaders, build strong talent pipelines, and drive a superior candidate experience while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years recruitment experience, including 3 years internal recruiting.
• Experience recruiting scientific/technical talent in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume or high-complexity hiring.
• Process/system improvements in recruitment; graduate recruitment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment from intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Partner with Scientific Operations and Business Development leaders to understand hiring needs and develop talent acquisition strategies.
• Recruit for positions supporting preclinical research, laboratory operations, scientific project management, client services, account management, and business development.
• Conduct direct sourcing and headhunting activities to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Lead searches for leadership-level positions, including Director, Senior Director, Vice President, and other critical hires.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines for scientific, operational, and commercial functions.
• Conduct talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to support strategic hiring initiatives.
• Advise hiring managers on talent market conditions, compensation trends, and hiring strategies.
• Facilitate candidate assessment, interview processes, and offer negotiations.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Utilize recruiting metrics and data to improve hiring outcomes and drive continuous process improvement.
