Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the role focuses on strategic workforce planning, market intelligence, and building robust pipelines, with six-month contract and potential for extension or full-time conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent Talent Acquisition experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience with demonstrated success recruiting mid-to-senior-level scientific talent, including medical, research and development, clinical development and quality.
• Proven ability to serve as a strategic Talent Acquisition Partner, influencing hiring decisions and advising business leaders on workforce planning, talent strategies, and market trends.
• Demonstrated success proactively building talent pipelines and engaging passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets.
• Strong executive presence and consultative skills, with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders while building trusted advisor relationships.
• Brings grit, tenacity, and a solution-oriented mindset to complex hiring challenges, continuously adapting strategies to secure high-quality talent.
• Experience leveraging labor market intelligence, talent analytics, and recruiting metrics to drive hiring strategies and business decision-making.
• Strong understanding of talent market dynamics within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries.
• Exceptional sourcing, networking, relationship-building, and candidate engagement skills.
• Ability to manage complex searches and multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of urgency, accountability, quality, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), talent CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for scientific roles in the US, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience and timely hiring decisions.
• Assess and select candidates with data-driven recommendations balancing technical capability and leadership potential.
• Partner with hiring managers to provide guidance on talent availability, market conditions, compensation considerations, and best practices.
• Develop workforce plans and talent strategies aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with laws and company policies with ethical practices.
• Support contingent labor strategy and oversee recruitment and onboarding for contractors and consultants.
• Coach hiring managers on interviewing, selection, and market trends to improve hiring outcomes.
• Maintain talent pipelines and leverage ATS/CRM systems to manage relationships and data integrity.
• Report on requisitions, candidate status, and KPIs such as time-to-fill and start-date accuracy.
