Job summary

Vertex Service Partners is a home improvement services company expanding across the United States. This recruiter role supports a portfolio of roofing and home improvement brands and partners with field leaders to hire a range of roles, emphasizing outside sales, call center, and production.

Based in one of our partner companies, you will recruit across multiple Western States while collaborating with hiring managers nationwide.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recruiting experience (in-house or agency).
• Experience hiring for sales or high-volume roles preferred.
• Proven sourcing skills and ability to build candidate pipelines from scratch.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to both entry-level candidates and senior operators.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools (experience with Greenhouse is a plus).
• Comfort working independently in a hybrid environment while staying connected to a remote team.
• Bonus: Experience in roofing, home services, or trades-based industries.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for Outside Sales Reps, Sales Managers, Call Center Representatives, Production, and Administrative roles.
• Partner with regional and local leaders to understand hiring needs and drive proactive recruiting plans.
• Leverage multiple sourcing channels including job boards, local networks, events, and referrals.
• Conduct screens and initial interviews to assess candidate quality and fit.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
• Schedule interviews and manage candidate flow through the hiring process.
• Provide regular updates to local and corporate stakeholders.
• Champion a positive candidate experience with timely communication and follow-up.
• Support employer branding through social media, local events, and internal referrals.
• Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and process.
