Job summary

Brightery is expanding its New York operations and seeks an HR and Recruitment Specialist to support local talent acquisition, onboarding and HR coordination during branch growth. You will partner with hiring managers and central HR, applying fair, structured hiring practices to source and evaluate candidates, coordinate interviews, offers and onboarding, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, HR operations or a combination of both.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and communicate professionally with candidates.
• Knowledge of structured interviews, candidate evaluation and confidentiality standards.
• Strong administrative accuracy and spreadsheet or applicant-tracking system skills.
• Familiarity with local employment practices and willingness to consult specialists on legal questions.
• Good interpersonal skills and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to clarify role needs, job descriptions and interview plans.
• Source and screen candidates and coordinate interviews and assessment feedback.
• Maintain candidate tracking, interview notes and timely applicant communications.
• Coordinate offer approvals, hiring documents and onboarding schedules.
• Support HR records, employee queries, attendance administration and policy communications.
• Monitor hiring metrics such as time to fill and source effectiveness.
• Coordinate local employment requirements with the company's authorized HR and legal advisers.
