Job summary

AAA Central Penn is seeking a People & Culture Talent Acquisition Specialist in Harrisburg, PA. You will lead full-cycle recruiting, partner with hiring leaders, and build programs to strengthen our future talent pipeline.

You’ll drive proactive sourcing, engage with colleges and community partners, and develop internship and early-career programs while maintaining compliant, data-driven hiring practices. The role emphasizes relationship-building and strategic program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least three years of progressive talent acquisition or HR experience including full-cycle recruiting; PHR certification preferred.
• Proven experience with sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and talent-pipeline development; developing recruiting programs.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, sourcing/recruiting technology, HR systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced communication, presentation, networking, relationship-building, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and make recruiting-based recommendations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring-related requirements.
• Experience developing internship/early-career college recruiting or workforce-development programs and partnerships.
• Ability to travel for recruiting events, career fairs, and company locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting experience by managing full-cycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective talent attraction strategies.
• Build proactive sourcing strategies and pipelines for hard-to-fill and future workforce needs.
• Build relationships with colleges, workforce organizations, and community partners; represent AAA Central Penn at events.
• Develop and support internship, early-career, college recruiting, and other programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
• Create engaging job postings and outreach that attract top talent.
• Leverage recruiting metrics and trends to evaluate results and drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliant hiring practices.
