Job summary

PMA Companies in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full life-cycle recruiting for the corporate office and regional roles. The role includes building pipelines, partnering with management, and guiding offers and onboarding.

You will develop active/passive candidate networks, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance while aligning with corporate compensation guidelines. This is a hands-on, full-time position requiring occasional travel and in-office presence 2–3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field.
• 2+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience managing searches of varying complexity.
• Experience using sourcing tools and databases; LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
• PHR or SPHR preferred.
• Experience using ATS and HRIS; MS Office.
• Ability to execute a sourcing strategy and maintain professional network as a recruiter.
• Strong interview and selection skills.
• Knowledge of compensation practices for offers.
• Strong consultative skills including ability to persuade and negotiate.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple hiring needs.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal clients.
• Excellent listening, writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• Ability to come to the Blue Bell office 2-3 days / week.
• Ability to travel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy focused on quality, response time and cost effectiveness.
• Source, screen and interview candidates for a variety of positions including insurance-related roles and corporate functions.
• Conduct pre-employment assessments and screenings in compliance with policies; advise on compliance.
• Determine compensation using corporate guidelines and manage offers and onboarding.
• Develop active and passive candidate pipelines through research and networking.
• Establish relationships with colleges/universities, professional associations and industry contacts to identify candidates.
• Provide sourcing support to team members as needed.
• Coach management in recruitment to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with management to understand job specs and business needs to maximize hiring.
• Meet regularly with management to understand staffing models and growth projections.
• Identify internal career paths to improve retention.
• Promote and implement the Employee Referral Program.
• Assist in coordinating temporary staffing needs.
• Serve as HR resource on benefits, employee relations and organizational development.
• Demonstrate commitment to Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and compliance.
