Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a System Realization and Resilience Engineer to guide design, development, and evaluation of strategic weapon systems. You will join the System Realization and Resilience group (KBR) within FPS and work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure resilience and security across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field.
• Interest in Systems Engineering and/or Specialty Engineering domains.
• Willing to travel periodically, including visits to sponsor offices and contractor sites across the country.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret/Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering expertise to guide design, development, and evaluation of strategic weapon systems.
• Participate as a systems engineer on projects and working groups across lifecycle activities.
• Use MBSE and digital engineering to enable development of strategic weapon systems.
• Deliver formal reports/presentations and communicate analysis results to sponsors and contractors.
