Job summary

Elray is seeking a hands-on supply chain leader responsible for purchasing, materials planning, and logistics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will own RFQs/POs, manage supplier relationships, and uphold AS9100D procedures while driving inventory turns, on-time deliveries, and cost improvements. Strong negotiation, ERP proficiency, and data-driven decision making are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in planning, procurement, supply chain or operations in manufacturing.
• Lean experience (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
• Strong ERP and Microsoft-stack skills.
• Sharp negotiation skills and business judgment.
• Data-driven, self-directed, and capable of owning outcomes.
• Grit and versatility; able to adapt when standard answers don't apply.
• Strategic thinker who can keep daily tasks on track.

Responsibilities

• Serve as authorized purchasing agent — RFQs, POs, assist in supplier negotiations.
• Own AS9100D purchasing procedure and resolve supplier/quality/non-conformances.
• Support 3rd party processing supplier relationships.
• Manage current open purchase order report.
• Provide pricing guidance to Sales and Customer Service on commodities/materials.
• Monitor inventory against sales orders and internal demand.
• Collaborate with CS and Production Planning on inventory levels.
• Communicate demand shifts to suppliers to protect capacity.
• Run weekly inventory reviews.
• Analyze supply chain data to cut cost and improve performance.
• Set freight terms with carriers to manage cost and on-time delivery.
• Handle commercial invoicing for international purchases.
