You will oversee supplier selection, cost control, and material flow to ensure on-time deliveries and program success.

The role requires expertise in MRP, purchasing, and government contracting, with a focus on optimizing inventories and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or MBA with related experience.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Purchasing, Production Control, Inventory Control, and Just-In-Time Production.
• Familiarity with DFAR/FAR and government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services for repair, overhaul, and manufacturing.
• Review supplier proposals for price, delivery, and quality; select suppliers.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance factors to ensure budgets and requirements.
• Develop sources of supply and optimize inventory levels; ensure on-time delivery and production flow.
• Negotiate with suppliers to improve margins and costs; maintain material cost traceability.
