Confidential Aerospace Manufacturer seeks an experienced Procure­ment leader to manage plant procurement and supply chain strategies. You will guide the team, align cross-functional goals, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with processes and ERP systems.

Relocation is provided, with a strong benefits package and on-site collaboration. This role demands strategic procurement oversight and hands-on shop floor engagement to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of SOX, Import/Export laws, and compliance best practices.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available.
• Access to export-controlled items; contingent on eligibility to obtain access.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant procurement operations including direct, indirect, and capital spend.
• Lead and mentor Plant Procurement Specialists and Supply Chain Planners.
• Align procurement strategies with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
• Share savings targets with Location Management, Category Management, and stakeholders.
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and execution of agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues; review procurement metrics to hit targets.
• Ensure ERP-related procurement processes and system enhancements are implemented.
• Forecast raw materials, manage inventory, and BOM issue research.
• Oversee ERP item and raw material transactions, including cycle counts.
• Lead project-related teams on procurement and supply chain initiatives.
