Job summary

General Motors is seeking a seasoned supply chain professional to lead cross-functional efforts across purchasing, engineering and manufacturing to resolve critical supply issues and support business transfers. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

The position is hybrid, reporting to GM facilities with travel up to 75%, including weekends on occasion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing or logistics.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work across Purchasing, Engineering, Supplier Quality and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support cross-functional calls on critical supply issues and business transfers.
• Identify causes of supplier delivery problems and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Develop and implement corrective actions for high-impact issues to improve supplier performance.
• Prepare executive level reports on status and actions.
