Job summary

General Motors is seeking an experienced leader to drive operational supply chain execution from suppliers to manufacturing sites. You will build and mentor a high-performance team to translate demand into executable supply plans, stabilize operations, and modernize execution through digital tools and disciplined governance.

You will partner across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to accelerate decisions, manage risks, and improve KPIs while championing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 10+ years across automotive supply chain, manufacturing ops, or service parts.
• Proven leadership of 4–5+ direct reports in high-pressure settings.
• Deep understanding of material flow, scheduling, supplier mgmt, and logistics.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint; translate data into actions.
• Executive-level communication; capable of concise updates.
• Willing to travel 10–40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day global supply chain execution from supplier to plant.
• Develop and empower a high-performing team translating demand to supply plans.
• Stabilize operations and modernize supply chain execution across networks.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Finance.
• Monitor KPIs, manage risks, and implement recovery plans.
