Job summary

Sunrise Foods International in the United States (Nebraska) is seeking a Master Planner to oversee end-to-end planning for a defined business segment. You will align demand planning, supply planning, inventory, and position management with Commercial teams, ensuring service levels and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance commercial goals with operational constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years in supply chain planning, demand planning, or operations planning.
• Experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, commodity trading, or related industries preferred.
• APICS/CPIM or similar certification considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning process for an assigned product or business segment.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts with Sales and Commercial teams.
• Manage supply planning to ensure product availability while optimizing working capital and inventory levels.
• Oversee inventory planning and replenishment strategies across the supply chain.
• Manage commodity and position planning to support objectives and mitigate risk exposure.
• Serve as the primary supply chain contact and strategic partner for the Commercial team.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, operations, and customer relationship teams to align execution plans.
• Analyze supply chain data and planning trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
• Monitor KPIs including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, and service levels.
• Develop scenario analyses and contingency plans for disruptions and variability.
• Support S&OP processes through reporting, analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to planning systems, tools, and processes.
• Assist with ERP implementation and optimization.
• Ensure accurate reporting and timely communication of supply chain risks and opportunities.
• All other duties as required.
