Job summary

The Heico Companies' Metal Processing Group (MPG) seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities, including sourcing, purchasing, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to support production and service excellence.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Production and Finance to ensure the right materials are available at the right time and cost, drive OTIF, improve inventory turns, and build a high‑performing, accountable team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–10 years of supply chain leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience in steel, wire, metals, or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and S&OP.
• Experience with ERP systems, MRP, and analytics.
• Proven leadership, project management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning, Customer Service, Warehousing, Transportation, and Purchasing functions.
• Develop production planning, demand forecasting, and inventory strategies.
• Lead S&OP to align demand, capacity, and material availability.
• Optimize inventory, scheduling, and material flow to improve OTIF.
• Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships.
• Manage inbound/outbound transportation and warehousing.
• Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs (OTIF, turns, lead times).
• Partner with Ops, Engineering, Sales, and Finance on new products and capital projects.
• Drive ERP optimization and data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
