Job summary

Heraeus is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain activities for our manufacturing sites in the United States. The role focuses on strategy development, planning, and execution across materials, production, and distribution to support profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will bring five years of inventory management experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. A Six Sigma/Lean background and ISO knowledge are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field required.
• Minimum five years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems (SAP) required.
• Five years of experience in CI, project management, operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition and implementation of a Supply Chain strategy for profitable growth including customer service, planning, order fulfilment, and logistics.
• Implement S&OP processes to improve forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and lead times.
• Monitor and optimize key Supply Chain processes using KPIs and information systems.
• Work with Raw Material suppliers and R&D to ensure material availability during scale-up.
• Review stock levels and advise on order levels and vendor selection.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution, ensuring on-time shipment and issue resolution.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate packaging, storage and distribution operations; supervise workforce activity.
• Align procurement, operations, manufacturing, finance, sales, and customer service around shared plans.
