Job summary

RightPro Staffing seeks a Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead direct materials, procurement, and inventory at a high-volume manufacturing site with 425+ employees. The role partners with site leadership to ensure continuity during leadership transition and aligns supplier performance with OTIF standards.

Responsibilities include Lean initiatives, master scheduling, BOM-driven procurement, cycle counting, and cost-out efforts.

Qualifications

5–10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership in high-volume manufacturing.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, MS Dynamics) and BI tooling.
Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics/Operations; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 8 Buyers/Planners and a Trade Compliance Specialist.
Negotiate with suppliers and ensure OTIF delivery standards.
Direct material procurement with BOM-driven scheduling in a fast-paced build-to-order environment.
Drive Lean supply chain initiatives to maximize inventory turns and minimize E&O.
Prepare annual materials budgets and analyze PPV, TCO, and cost-out opportunities.
Oversee international trade compliance guidance and documentation.
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and CI to resolve raw material issues and drive root-cause actions.
