Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Fontana, CA, to lead plant/site logistics, distribution strategy, and related operations. You will oversee shipping, warehousing, inventory control, purchasing, and transportation to achieve safety, cost, and service goals.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, staff development, and accountability for cost and performance metrics. A strong background in manufacturing logistics and SAP-based ERP systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing, distribution, purchasing, production planning, or transportation.
• APICS Certification preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Supply Chain team to meet safety and cost goals.
• Develop and execute end-to-end distribution strategy for the plant site.
• Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Sales, and Accounting.
• Manage production scheduling, raw material ordering, and inbound/outbound logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
• Coach and develop Logistics staff and ensure KPI achievement.
