Job summary

GAF in Fontana, CA is seeking a Manager Technical Services to lead analytical and process initiatives at the plant. You will ensure safety, product quality, and cost control while supporting all departments and driving improvements across operations.

The role focuses on applying statistical methods, process capability, and problem solving to improve productivity and material handling, with strong emphasis on reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and drive best practices across plant operations.
• Lead production, engineering, and quality optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process standard databases and quality audits.
• Oversee trials for process improvements and raw materials.
• Lead and develop the quality department staff.
• Manage capital projects to improve cost and quality.
