Job summary

BizLink Interconnect Technology (India) Private Limited in Michigan is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead daily operations, recruit and coach the team, and ensure high-performance execution across procurement and logistics.

You will develop strategic sourcing programs, negotiate with suppliers and freight partners, manage inventories, and implement multi-sourcing strategies to minimize risk while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven background in Supply Chain Management with strong sourcing and vendor management.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and experience managing and developing teams.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, with advanced MS Excel skills (V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).
• In-depth market and production process knowledge, with expertise in material flow, FIFO, Kanban, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving techniques, Kaizen (Production Productivity), and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork, conflict handling, and customer/quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the daily workflow of the supply chain department, including recruiting, developing, conducting one-on-ones, and managing the performance of team members.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to improve lead times, lower costs, and enhance overall product quality.
• Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, assessing their performance to maintain highly cost-effective practices.
• Maintain supply continuity by ensuring timely issuance of POs, optimizing detailed material inventories, and implementing multi-sourcing or substitute material strategies to resolve supply gaps.
• Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) activities, utilizing scorecards, business reviews, forecasting, and developing new SRM tools to achieve key company objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support production planning efforts, project requirements, and new product introductions (NPI).
• Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate supply chain efficiency, accurately balancing supply continuity with cost.
• Monitor global freight activity, including assisting freight forwarders with customs clearance and strictly following Export Control procedures.
• Ensure compliance by adhering to the BizLink Code of Conduct, updating practices per company policies/laws, following Document Procedures (DP) and Work Instructions (WI), and reporting risks over 50k Euro to the GRC Coordinator.
• Analyze and improve current inventories and procedures to proactively increase the overall efficiency and profitability of the supply chain.
