May Mobility, based in Ann Arbor, is seeking a Senior Manager of Supply Chain to oversee procurement, production planning, inventory, and logistics with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement.

The role leads a team of supply chain professionals, mentors staff, and partners with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely sourcing decisions, negotiate contracts, and mitigate risks while driving continuous improvement and data-driven performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• 7+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Netsuite.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods such as 8D, CAPA, Six Sigma.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP activities.
• Experience with autonomous and electric vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Lead a team of supply chain professionals with mentorship and guidance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure quality at favorable cost.
• Oversee purchase orders and timing of Direct Materials from BOM.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence using KPIs.
• Manage inventory accuracy within ERP and reconcile BOM costs.
• Support design reviews for manufacturability and cost/lead time feedback.
• Coordinate indirect purchasing to control costs and ensure compliance.
• Engage with suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions.
