Aston Carter is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Manufacturing) in Houston to manage supplier follow-up, PO execution, and material tracking. You will work with Procurement, Planning, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure on-time material delivery and uninterrupted production.

The role emphasizes problem solving, strong supplier relationships, and ownership in a fast-paced environment, with a contract-to-hire path and onsite work.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Management, or related function.
• Experience with suppliers, purchase orders, inventory, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier follow-up and purchase order execution from issuance to delivery.
• Proactively manage vendor acknowledgments and commitments to project timelines.
• Resolve shortages, delays, incorrect shipments, backorders, and other disruptions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Operations, and Project teams to maintain schedule integrity.
• Maintain purchasing, inventory, and supplier records; monitor material availability.
