Job summary

Blanchard-Valley-Health-System is seeking a Supply Chain Contracting Specialist to ensure cost-effective management of all contracts, including GPO, local, service and capital agreements. You will analyze, coordinate, and resolve issues during contract review, and act as an expert in the contract management system to support the RFP process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, mathematics, or related analytical field.
• Two years of contracting experience in a business or financial setting.
• Data analysis and performance improvement skills, including Excel.
• Positive, service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and oversee all contract negotiations and review processes.
• Serve as expert for the contract management system with leadership oversight.
• Lead the RFP process in collaboration with supply chain leadership.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure contract compliance.
• Drive performance improvement and establish standard work for the department.
• Collaborate with supply chain staff to standardize processes and costs.
• Support basic supply chain tasks as needed and mentor others.
• Model teamwork and maintain exceptional service excellence skills.
• Communicate timely to the Corporate Director of Supply Chain to ensure alignment.
