Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is seeking a Supplier Recovery Manager to lead recovery and performance-improvement initiatives across the aerospace supply chain.

This role requires traveling to supplier locations and coordinating with internal teams to stabilize high-risk suppliers and improve delivery, quality, capacity, and program performance. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 7+ years in aerospace operations, and experience with supplier recovery or turnaround programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, supplier development, supply chain, or operations leadership.
• Proven experience leading supplier recovery, turnaround, or performance-improvement initiatives.
• Experience working directly with aerospace suppliers, OEMs, or Tier 1 manufacturers.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Experience supporting critical or high-risk aerospace programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier recovery and turnaround initiatives addressing delivery, quality, capacity, or operational issues.
• Assess supplier operations to identify constraints, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective action plans.
• Develop structured recovery plans with milestones, timelines, and performance objectives.
• Collaborate with supplier leadership and production teams to improve flow, capacity, quality, and delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and establish early-warning indicators for disruptions.
