Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd is seeking a Procurement Specialist - Subcontracts to join the center-led Procurement Team, supporting construction projects by sourcing services, materials and equipment with a focus on cost, schedule and compliance.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days in office, and involves collaboration with engineering, estimating, legal, HSQE, and project teams to optimize subcontracting strategies and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant work/field experience or military education combination.
• ISM or CIPS certification preferred.
• Ability to travel 15-30%.

Responsibilities

• Leads RFP process, conducts bid evaluations, negotiates prices and contracts favorable to RES.
• Builds internal and supplier relationships and formalizes demand requirements for projects.
• Prepares subcontracts and manages redlines with project teams for review and resolution.
• Advises on medium spend and risk, identifies process challenges and improvement opportunities.
• Mentors Procurement Associates and collaborates with Managers to improve the group.
