Job summary

RES is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Procurement Expeditor to support EPC projects across Solar, Wind, BESS, Substations, and Transmission. The hybrid role requires three days in the Denver office and involves expediting equipment and materials from bid to delivery while managing schedules and supplier relationships.

You will mentor associates, work with project teams on risk and delivery, and drive process improvements in procurement practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain, or 3+ years of related experience.
• IMS or CIPS certification preferred.
• 3+ years negotiating PO and subcontractor agreements.
• Ability to travel 16–30%.
• Experience expediting equipment and materials for renewables or electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Expedites POs and subcontracts for major equipment and materials from award to delivery.
• Conducts desk and field expediting, supplier progress calls, and visits to verify progress.
• Maintains the project expediting log as the single source of delivery status.
• Builds internal and supplier relationships and advises teams on risks.
• Mentors procurement staff and collaborates with expeditors and buyers.
• Coordinates timelines, freight, permits, and site logistics to meet schedules.
• Supports continuous improvement and safety practices with HSQE.
