Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is hiring a Subcontracts & Procurement Specialist to award, administer, and close out purchase orders and subcontracts. The role requires negotiating terms, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and managing supplier relationships to meet project needs.

Based on location in the United States, the specialist will support cost-effective procurement strategies and maintain meticulous procurement records across systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Deltek CostPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of purchasing experience required.
• Experience with automated procurement systems (Oracle, SAP, Deltek CostPoint) preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support to internal teams for timely, cost-effective acquisitions.
• Lead sourcing, RFQ/RFP documentation, and price analysis per FAR 15.404-1(b).
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and analyze T&Cs.
• Operate and extract data from procurement systems (Oracle, SAP, Deltek CostPoint).
• Create and maintain purchase orders and subcontracts with accurate data.
• Track, expedite, and modify purchase orders and subcontracts as needed.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with policies and regs.
• Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance in all procurement activities.
