Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Subcontracts & Procurement Specialist for an on-site role at Moffett Field, California. You will award, administer, and close out purchase orders and subcontracts while ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance and strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities include sourcing, RFQ/RFP management, price analysis, and negotiations; experience with Oracle, SAP, or Deltek CostPoint is required. Pay rate is $100,000–$110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, contracts and contracting, purchasing, economics, supply chain management, or related field; or five years of purchasing experience.
• Three years of specialized purchasing and contracting experience within an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction organization or Government Agency.
• Knowledge and experience with an automated procurement system such as Oracle, SAP, or Deltek CostPoint.
• Proficient in MS Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community-level clearance.
• Able to successfully pass any pre-employment background check and/drug test as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide procurement support to internal business teams for timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Perform sourcing, RFP/RFQ documentation, price analysis, and negotiations per FAR 15.404-1(b).
• Work with Oracle, SAP, or Deltek CostPoint to manage data and processes.
• Review purchase requests for completeness and correct discrepancies.
• Source, negotiate, and procure materials and services via approved requests.
• Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers, issue RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotes, select offers.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and subcontracts with accurate data.
• Track and expedite orders, manage modifications or cancellations, and communicate changes.
