Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Official on-site at Moffett Field, California, to manage budgets, costs, procurement, and contract accounting across the program. This role ensures contract compliance, supports corporate reporting, and oversees the accounting department’s day-to-day operations.

The incumbent will supervise staff, prepare NASA 533 submissions, monitor burn rates, and coordinate audits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of accounting/finance experience with a business-related bachelor’s degree or CPA.
• Minimum 14 years of accounting/finance experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree or CPA.
• 5 years in a supervisory/management role with direct staff oversight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and ethics in departmental activities.
• Oversee payroll, AP, payroll, AR, billing, and cost reporting for the contract.
• Prepare NASA financial reports (NASA Form 533) monthly and quarterly.
• Coordinate with procurement and ensure procurement actions meet timelines.
• Audit support: FDA for Government audits and ensure audit-ready ledgers.
• Monitor burn rates and EVMS usage to track project health.
• Lead and mentor department staff and align with corporate policies.
• Ensure timely contract invoices and financial analyses.
